• Family or household requirements relevant to finding a property
• Information about your current property or circumstances where relevant to the service
• Viewing preferences and availability
• Any other information you voluntarily provide that is relevant to your search

We may also receive limited information from third parties (such as estate agents) where this is necessary to progress your search.

We collect your information to provide and manage our property-buying and property-search services: to understand your requirements, identify suitable properties, arrange and coordinate viewings, discuss properties on your behalf, progress negotiations and the purchase process, maintain records, and communicate with you about your search.

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b)) - to take steps before entering into our agreement with you and to perform it once you instruct us.
• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) - to administer our service, maintain records, and communicate with you where this is in our legitimate interests and does not override your rights.
• Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) - where we must process information to comply with a legal duty (for example, anti-money laundering requirements where applicable).
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) - only for optional processing such as marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not rely on your consent for processing that is necessary to provide the service; that processing relies on contractual necessity, legitimate interests or legal obligation instead.

We may share your information with appropriate third parties where reasonably necessary to carry out your property search or transaction:

• Estate agents and selling agents
• Property professionals
• Surveyors and valuers
• Solicitors and conveyancers
• Contractors and other relevant parties involved in your purchase

We only share what is reasonably necessary for the purpose. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it as a commercial mailing list.

We handle your information carefully and securely. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Access to your information is limited to those who need it to provide the service, and we expect the third parties we work with to apply similar standards.

We keep your information only for as long as is necessary to provide the service and to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations. After that, we securely delete or anonymise it unless we are required to keep it for longer.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Rectify information that is inaccurate
